Manage day to day operatons of datacenter, network infrastructure, voice communications, security, data warehouse/BI, and development teams. Managed budget for all operations, support, equipment, and new projects. Provided proposal development with bid specification for all MIS capital projects. Managed relationships with 10 primary vendors, 35+ secondary vendors. Ten primary consist of consulting firms, network equipment, servers, telecom, wiring infrastructure, ERP, database, virtualization and security vendors.

Lead design and development teams for custom intranet software, data warehouse, business intelligence, and Datatel ERP teams. Provided overall vision, design criteria, problem solving, and technical expertise throughout project lifetime. Worked with customers and management to fully define all project specifications and build scope documents up front.

Management of datacenter consisted of leading network administrators, database administrators, storage administrators. Providing problem solving, team building, and resource allocation. Maintains a four/five nine infrastructure for file, print, application, email, database, and backup systems.

Network infrastructure and voice communications work revolved around a true five nines, fully converged, fully redundant network. Voice, video, and data in a single physical, highly secure network. No proprietary network standards, all layer 3 redundancy utilized to provide multi-vendor solution. Voice infrastructure is fully IP based Avaya S8500 switch with Octel VM.

Security work consisted of designing and implementing the various firewalls, IP load balancers, and packet shapers. Writing all the security procedures, testing the network/servers, testing the staff, and hiring outside firms to independently test the system security. Overseeing any remediation work and continually educating myself on the changing security landscape.

Current Major Projects:
•	ERP system, Datatel R17 Unidata to R18 on Oracle migration
•	Cognos 8 BI implementation
•	Disaster recovery
•	Packeteer bandwidth shaper
•	Campus wide wireless rollout
•	Lotus Notes to PHP/Oracle application migration
•	Microsoft Exchange pilot

Designed Internet site and features, built Internet/Intranet site using UNIX & NT. Products designed and developed for Solnet are as follows: Visual Database Multimedia Design Tool--A fully graphical easy to use multimedia authoring system for electronic manuals, interactive CD-ROM, computer based training, help desk database design, CAD / engineering drawing management systems, interactive kiosk's, and similar purposes.
Information System Client/Server database system--Fully C/S database system for running a company, included inventory control, bar code scanning, customer/vendor/contact tracking, shipping/receiving, all functions of company management.
Document Management System Client/Server database--Provided physical control of documentation in an enterprise. Full user and group based security, works with Windows 3.1, 95, NT, and all document types and file types. Provided a CAD drawing viewer in addition to mail routing capabilities for workgroup computing.
Internet Database Servers--Interactive web pages, WWW front ends for the Document Manager, and full WWW based company information systems are just a few.
Interactive CD-ROM's--Created with Visual Database technology and provided as a service bureau set of services we created many internationally distributed, award winning products.
100 User Interactive Multimedia Theater ( NT RISC Based )--Provided a completely interactive experience. My design controlled 100 workstations, 3 industrial robots, 6 Laser disk players, lighting, and audio. Using 3 NT servers and custom TCP/IP based networking code. I produced a completely unified architecture for Audience response and interactive real time controls.
